a new series on Prairie Gothic....time has her wicked ways with the world around her...
fotos taken while wandering around... you see more if you walk than if you drive... that, and it's environmentally sound... oops, shouldn't have said that, someone might accuse me of being a green activist... :-)
which I just may be!

Y'know, If I was looking for a wasp, that'd be the first place I'd go! There's a lot of old farmhouses like that here, most about half that size believe it or not.
"Seen Better Days" .... Been THERE and DONE that .... WINK. GREAT Shot!!
Superb image! Wonderful bleak outlook! Excellent!
Excellent shot and the title is well chosen.
i like this kind of shots its always inspiring,i dont know how my brain works but apparently the informatiuon is stored somewhere and it comes back to my mind sometimes when i pose the scene its amazing. sadly most of the human populace has no brains they dont know what they miss lol.
Great shot! It is a shame when people just abandon places like this...
Nevertheless a very pictoresque view! RS
...or as crafty real estate agents would have you believe...a renovators special ! Kool and desolate capture ! ~Cheers
wonderful capture!!
I would have walked with you to get to this.. Lovely to see. :)
OUTSTANDING SHOT!!!! SUPERB CAPTURE!!! IT LOOKS A BIT BATTERED...
Has a familiar feel to it. Growing up in rural Colorado, many structures have cousins to this haunting image. I love the notion of decay and a time lost. Fantastic photograph...more! +5
Hoooo… The wind blows extremely by there my friend. The barn is on the side like lol ..... Cheer it is a beautiful catch of sight. Mile mercies ((5++)) Hoooo... Le vent souffle fort par là mon ami . La grange est sur le côté comme lol..... Bravo c'est une belle prise de vue . Mile mercis ((5++))
Very nice shot of the old farm!!
You should check out 'tennesseecowgirl' - "Quilt barn", amazing what you can do to beautify an old barn, this could be the beginning for a new vocation ? (maybe you could paint spaceships on them...only joking!) Actually, I do love old historical 'stuff' like this...well preserved now ! BB
Entropy seems to be the way the universe works. Awesome shot.
Laughs time always wins question is, is it linear? Just image an Alberta winter in that and you will only see a sky like that on the prairies.
Wonderful view and capture.
Reminds me "The little House on the prairies" ;) Superb full capture
saw some in new mexico like this all run down . cool shot
