Description
Me ,my wife and kids visited Pretoria Zoo today.
The day started overcast and as soon as we arrived at the zoo it poured down.Needles to say we were all drenched.I used my daughters jacket to protect my camera from the rain.At about 11 o clock this morning we left the zoo as it was still pouring down.Went to Colonade center to watch a movie.Coming out of the Movie theater it was still overcast with some blue skies visible. It started to rain again after sunset and it is still raining currently.A series of snake pictures will follow. All the snakes is in glass cages. For this series of captures i used macro function on my sigma lens as well as pop up flash with the lens setted at between 200 - 300mm.

Nice shot. Very clear focus.
Great. It's harder than it looks to shoot through glass!

Wonderful macro... glad you have glass between you and the snake!
Nice closeup of this puff adder! Glad there was glass ... not the safest snake around!

Yikes... great shot of this slithery fellow Christo! I dislike snakes but am not as scared of them as I am of spiders!!! LOL...
you are close ...yikes ! its great that they are behind glass lol .. great shot
Excellent!
This is most definitely one relaxed snake...I mean look at him! His flesh is all splayed out as he warms his underside. Great POV. What a wonderful capture and I am so happy that I saw it. Your persistence in wet weather really paid off. Excellent!
