Svasso
. Grebe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The term is used to indicate grebe species of birds belonging to the Podicipediformes except the loons Fogal, belonging instead of the order Gruiformes.
The grebes are exclusively aquatic birds, poor fliers but excellent divers, have lobed feet (with separate membranes along each finger) and sexes morphologically similar. The black-necked grebe (Podiceps nigricollis), also called collonero, is characterized by black neck and the presence of a tuft of golden feathers fan-shaped behind each eye and is widespread in East Central Europe, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain South. The great crested grebe (Podiceps cristatus), is the largest of the grebes, easily recognizable to blackish tufts and the presence, at the time of hatching, a clear black and brown plume to the sides of the head has the beak is flesh and widespread practice throughout Europe.

Adorable Mario, amazing lighting, very cute! ***********
Thats a good one Mario. Great vivid colours.
Very pretty grebe and lovely capture! I love the reflections and the blue ripples against the golden water. Beautiful water! It looks so calm at the top, with satiny reflections and variations of color. The calm is disrupted at the bottom, with excellent ripples and reflections. The grebe seems very content as he makes his way across the water. Excellent image! I am visiting my mom, and have to use her computer, mostly after she goes to bed, so I am a bit late with my comments. Have a beautiful Easter! Molto carina svasso e la cattura bella! Amo le riflessioni e le onde blu contro l'acqua d'oro. Bella l'acqua!
