Description
These old posts were sitting in about 3 feet of water, all by themselves. Something about them appealed to me.

You just MUST wade out there and get a close-up of those encrustations! This is enticing! Or maybe a little row would be warmer?
It is the solitude... it appeals to me too! Lovely Marilyn! :)
Like a little gathering of friends having a chat. You can see where the water levels change. I like it too. Aloha
do look wonderful
super !
Wonderful. I love low tide. This is a great shot.
Uber stellar composition and Gothic effects in this shot, M!
Interesting shot of these poles, they do look interesting, makes me wonder what they are for, do they mark the edge of a channel or something similar..
Watertripod........well, almost. Nice capture. Aloha
I gree with Meisiekind. Solitude! Great capture!
Wonderful image! So peaceful!
I like the striations going down the poles. Nice!
quite fotogenic and well seen
I like it: Tara said "striations." That's one of my favorite words. I love this picture too...it's deliciously minimalist, kind of like an Arvo Part musical composition with just three notes played on a piano. I love the crisp, cleanness of this. I have some catching up to do, but I'm at least starting with this beauty. The thumbnail grabbed me instantly. This is fantastic!
I love things sticking up out of the water. Lots of them in Everett yesterday in and around the sloughs and the Snohomish River!
