Description

On our annual boxing day walk we came home via Cricket St Thomas country park, any of you who remember the television series, To The Manor Born, this is where it was shot, a couple of miles from my home in Chard Somerset, to be confronted by this tree in the dying light.

I do indeed remember 'To the Manor Born', I have it on DVD. I love the long shadows and the sun shining through the trees! Excellent composition! I like prominent position of the trees and shadows, their gentle slope, the fence leading the eye into the distance, the branch at the upper left corner and the sheep. Beautiful shot!
