Description

(Bug Comic)(Follows Noises Off) Bryan is now out of the pool and in Professor Shinka's front hall. He's given a written statement to the Metro cops, since while he can talk now, he sounds like he's had laryngitis for a week. Bryan's also been checked out by an EMT, who made him cough and swallow, told Bryan he'd be fine in the morning, and extracted a bit of spinach-like jacket string from between Bryan's teeth. He also took a dentist's mirror and checked to see if Bryan had cracked a tooth or jammed anything into the channels, and told him to brush when he got home. Bryan is worried that he'll get a ticket for biting, but the EMT assures him that won't happen. Bryan's sister Priscilla (standing next to him) has gotten several tickets for unnecessary biting. She claims it was all justified and work-related;) She had turned up (to Bryan's dismay) when he was giving his statement. Someone knew he was related to Priscilla Kim, and called her to pick Bryan up and take him home. "Petunia" told Bryan that only *he* could be almost killed outside the Toona Fish, where "Mom goes every Tuesday for lunch with the law library staff." (But she is very glad he's all right, if wet and embarassed.)Bryan makes her promise "not to tell Mom!" (The EMT is trying not to laugh while he packs away the bit of jacket evidence). Professor Shinka has run upstairs to get comp tickets for Bryan for the Barber of Seville, because Shinka "hadn't been this entertained in weeks" and wanted to return the favor. (If Bryan could have seen into the future, he would have tossed them out Petunia's car window on the short trip back to his dorm.) ------------------------------------- If you look closely at the poster and you have a better memory than I do, you might recognize Patrick The Housemate/House sitter from here. You can also see the opera's corporate sponsor is Shadownet Industries, that makes all those cool datapads you might see floating around. Petunia is really gypsyangel's Giselle from the Rena/Giselle package, at Daz.

Tickets for unnecessary biting? When would biting be necessary? One can only imagine! Great job on this story, and I love the extra details in your pictures. The poster for 'Shadownet Industries' is a cool tribute to Rob. Always outstanding work!

I don't understand how you do these so fast, with so much wonderful post work. All the clothes look painted, and it doesn't look like you sacrifice quality for speed. You really are one fantastic artist. And I would like to volunteer my services for getting Priscilla out of all those tickets. She's a real babe. ;)

Good golly could that house be any cleaner? I want his housekeeper!! Nice touch with the "biting in the line of business". I can't wait to see the Barber of Seville. Patrick is an accident waiting to happen! Figaro, figaro, figaro!!!!
