Description
Namibia 2010
This salt water marsh was captured way north on the Skeleton Coast - in fact about 100 miles north of Swakopmund and very close to where the Skeleton Coast National Park starts. It is about 300 meters from the ocean and I was fascinated by it. The flora is all succulent type plants. I wish I had someone with some knowledge on this specific ecosystem with me to educate me a little more!
Thank you for your wonderful comments and favs on my upload "Alone" of yesterday.
Stay well!

This is an incredible capture of a most beautiful landscape!! So serene and so peaceful! I know what you mean about wanting to know more about the different types of environments... so very inspiring and intriguing... It would be the greatest adventure to put on a pair of rubber boots and explore this wonderful place!
I can understand your fascination, Carin. What an interesting area! Thanks for sharing it.
The Bushmen call it 'The Land God Made in Anger'. A wonderful image of nature almost untouched by humans.
Looks like a nice place to explore but I fear what I do not see. My imagination grows. Interesting capture. Aloha
WOW!!! Super capture and DOF. Surprised that there are so many succulents on the edge of the desert. Dana
Always some life...! Clive
