Description
This wasp squadron had flown their last mission...they had landed safely, probably too safe because their engines are actually silent for good, what gave course to such a combined death to all of them, at the same time ?
I guess we will never know ? but maybe it was simply some hydrocarbon propellant, (esbiothrin and permethrin) in the bug-spray ?
p.s. no insects were harmed in any way, by moi!
(only ever mosquitoes), I actually found them dead, on window-ledges, trying to find a way out!

Here is a little aftermath explanation to something I posted a couple of days ago, it was 'Spiders from Mars' dedicated to Andrea (durleybeachbum) because she loves Arachnids.
The TOS decided it was in the wrong category and promptly moved it.
Therefore most members in the Photography section would have missed it, here is a link
if you like to see my dedication for her.

special.
Fascinating! A great shot!
Great shot, they do look a bit worn out! Thanks for the link to spiders from Mars!
Fantastic capture!
The ghost squadron for sure, some how they still look like they can cause plenty of damage, but probably only psychologically ! Kool capture, composition & ~Cheers~
LOL. Stunning in all ways. Love the humor at their expense. :-)
A completely new species too me..they have extraordinary elongated 'waists'- quite amazing!
Excellent shot.
wonderful picture!!
somewhat surreal... wasps in formation, silent... and yeah, I've had images moved by mods... like I don't know what I'M posting... madness!
a great image. superlative creation!!!
They are done. Good. (I hate wasps. Been stung too many times to have any love of these critters.)
Ha, great composition, love it!
Elegant and beautfiful composition
great shot love the title
These look quite different to how they look when they are buzzing past my face, they seem to have part of their body stripped away or maybe their sting has swollen up or something. Very well spotted and I love your title as that is how I think of them all when they are on my bird's feeder. Excellent capture.
Fantastic capture!

incredible,,,,the are cute to see, nice shot
wow..
Excellent composition and image - wow, if they were alive, I'd be freaked out, lol. They have a killer look! :)
