Description

Westside of Montreal & Mount-Royal You can see the Saint-Joseph Oratory on the left ...After dining in one of Montreal's fine restaurants it's time to take the plunge. Depending on your mood or inclination, you might choose a show at Place des Arts, take in a play at the Centaur or how about chilling with some live jazz at Maison du Jazz (formerly Biddles). If your looking to do some mingling, there are bars and lounges everywhere. St. Denis is funky, St. Laurent is oh so trendy, while the folks on Crescent and Bishop are just so dam friendly. Thursdays and Sir Winston Churchill Pub on Crescent St. are still some of the best places for singles to meet. If you're looking for live bands, have a look at what's playing at Club Soda, the Spectrum or the Foufounes Électriques. If dancing is your thing, try Club Jet, the Element or Exit. How about a few games of pool, drop by Le Scratch, Le Swimming or Sharkey's. Finally, if you're still up for it there are a lots of after hours clubs to choose from such as, the Aria, Stereo or Groove Party. If you can drag you're self out of bed the morning after the night before, you can take in some professional sports. Montreal is home to the the Alouettes (Football), the Impact (Soccer)and of course the Montreal Canadiens (Hockey)(but no longer the Expos, what a shame!). Movie complexes are scattered all over the city or if you're taste is a little more avant-garde, then head over to to Ex-Centris or the Imperial, two of Montreal's fine repertory houses. You'll also find an IMAX down at the old port for that larger than life movie experience. Wether it's day or night, if you just love the sound of money, drop by the Montreal Casino, it never closes. You'll find all of the games of chance (and skill of course), live cabaret and fine dining in a spectacular building. Just what you need Have a Nice Week Thanks Magik

Magik, c'est un magnifique collage mon ami. Montréal a l'air d'une ville stupéfiante et j'aimerais le visiter. Je crois que Montréal a quelque chose, nous tous pourrions apprécier.

My grandparents loved Montreal and went every spring for 3 weeks. Their photo album was filled with lovely photos of their vacations.
