Description
Trying out my hand at a complete Vue scene again, the Rhine river in Germany with it's Castles, bridges and folklore was the inspiration for this "Steampunk" fantasy.
Lorelei was a Siren of the river Rhine and lured fishermen into her snare, with her haunting song.
This is my modern day Steampunk version of her, farewelling her lover Captain Jack.
Cheers jif3d :o)

Excellent work!
A wonderful scene which looks really amazing in zoom, with all the details of the castle, bridge and boat. I love Lorelei's outfit with its beautiful textures and how you have the top blowing in the breeze. Excellent work in this scene.
Great concept Jeff
I hope it wasn't good-bye to Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp?), I mean he such a dish, who would want to leave him ? Legend has it, that those poor fisherman actually lost their lives, when listening to Lorelei...no good-bye's! I can hear them singing: "Ich weiss nicht was soll das bedeuten, dass ich so traurig bin, ein Maehrchen aus uralten Zeiten, das geht mir nicht aus dem Sinn!" etc, etc. Superb work on the POV and everything else. Oh so cool!!

Really nice scene and POV. Great character, lighting and atmosphere! Excellent render.
Man! What a Super job! Stunning detail, as usual, but even more pronounced in this one. Looks like you've got a good handle on Vue. Btw, would that be a modern day Capt. Jack Sparrow? :^)
Very cool scene and such great pov. CC

Outstanding scene. Love the deep perspective and POV.
Fantastic scene and stunning POV. Love it. Yes, must be seen full size.
Fantastic scene!!
Excellent scene; very good POV and DOF which which enhance the credibility. I have seen it from the bank and the river but this view is to die for.
