Description
I heard this noise that I thought was a car crash, my bed was shaking for a good 15 minutes before the sound...I looked out but couldn't see anything but this is what I saw when I looked out my front door today! Thankfully its an abandoned house so no one was there to get hurt...and if you look at the porch on the house next door, it looks like its coming down next! There is a picture of this same house farther back in my gallery that shows the porch in pretty good shape, but there was a fire this summer in the upstairs so maybe thats why it came down. Just thought I would share:-)
Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favs! Off to the doctor again for my foot tomorrow and next week starts the dental stuff...ewww!!!

Grief Lynn I can see why you thought something happened as this must have been a huge disturbance. Glad no one was hurt and it does appear the other porch is coming down next. It reminds me of some of the buildings in our downtown where a couple of them collapsed out in the street due to not being repaired.

Excellent POV employed to depict the collapsed porch roofs, Lynn! Other than the fire you mentioned, do you have any termite problems in your neck of the woods? Or more likely, the added weight of the snow added to the porchs' demise. And, when my bed starts shaking, it's earthquake time, baby!
