Description
While wandering through the Mariposa Grove I came across this little clearing. I read somewhere that chipmunks eat the seeds from sequoia cones. This would explain the apparent delight of this little guy at the banquet laid out before him.

He does not appear interested in sharing his good fortune with the other 'munks .. nor is he inspired to gather all the cones up and open a roadside seed diner.
