Description
Brewster F2A Buffalo. Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force. Modelled in Shade 8 and rendered in Poser 6, (background modelled in Bryce 6).
Hopelessly outperformed by Japanese fighters of the day, the Buffalo's reputation did not survive 1942 in the Pacific. Yet the Finns later used their Buffalos successfully against the Soviets. No Zeroes on the Eastern Front...???

Well there were some on the Soviet Eastern front. But by the time the Zero was out, the Japanese had learned about the Soviets. Portly little fellow!
The engine must have liked the colder climate :) or Stalin had all the good Soviet pilots shot! Super model work on the Buffalo!!!
