Alooooooooha~
A snap from my visit to the steam vents in Hawaii's Volcano National Park. I had planned to get some fog shots, but the morning dawned clear and bright...zero fog. I had never walked on this side of the steam vents, so I took a walk down an asphalt walkway and wandered off the trail a ways.
This wasn't a scary as walking on live lava, but none the less it could be hazardous if you were to fall into the pits. I'm standing right on the edge of the pit for this shot of the morning sun...a steamy experience.

I walked all along that trail when I was there. It wasn't as steamy, but you could sure tell it was a pretty dangerous place. It's also awesome, truly powerful!!

man, you walk to close to danger... next time you do this imagine putting your two feet into boiling pots of water while taking a shotgun and shooting your feet - can you feel it? put that image in your head and next time, you might just live to show us some pictures - stay safe - get a telephoto lenz - lol - I know, ya got one... get a stronger one - LOL
