Description
The Social Huntsman.
Social Huntsman might be huge and hairy, but luckily they are also non-poisonous and non-aggressive. They have huge and powerful fangs, but will only bite humans if they are seriously threatened.

nice capture...
i am SO not going to hurt them---you're getting some seriously good shot of these creepy crawly critters!!
Beautiful capture! Perhaps they are more human.
Quelle macro!
If I moved that wood and they ran out... I'd run off! Now, gentlemen! Here is a case for Health & Safety to get of their bums and stop these scary creatures from making me jump!! There is a use for them!!! Great and brave picture! Rob
oohhhh! soooo nice spiders!!!!!! Great shot!!!!
Fantastic shot! they look great!
They are odd looking creatures - even for spiders. And this is a fabulous shot!
Spectacular shot! Great details.
Great looking spiders!
Marvellous! We don't have a great many social spiders here.
wonderful shot!!
EEEEEEEEwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....... Oh gosh - they are walking all over me.... Great image but yikes.... Not the prettiest creatures on the ark!!! :)
Looks like half tick half spider...lol. Nice shot.
Wow! You guys have definitely got some serious bugs down there in OZ!
Outstanding capture my friend.
Elegant and beautfiful composition
WOW! Amazing! Social spiders? We don't get those in Chicago! Their colors are beautiful, and like all spiders, they're quite well designed. I love their colors and their hair patterns. This is superb work and I'm sure I could spend days at a time watching these gorgeous little critters. How many of them were there? I see what might be three, or might be four...at any rate, WOW!
To many legs in this photo although a great catch. Dana
These spiders are indeed looking weird... tho fun and beautiful in their own way. :) I wish i could see one in real life, and touch it. Thanks for the show! :)
A trifle confronting for the arachniphobes among us...
