Description
I have spent a bit of time walking around this park, four trips here. And this is the only sign I'v seen of a gator. No glimpes, no tracks even!
I've been here in Florida for nine months and the only gators I've seen is the Football team. LOL!
So yesterday I went to the Zoo. Figure I get a shot of the ones there. Ha! Didn't see any! They don't have a pen for them, just a boardwalk though the swamp. So another words if one happen's to show up. I'm not giving up!
Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for the comments.

Heh... Very cool!
Well, when you see one, finally...I hope you see it first...lol Good luck! Will be waiting for that cool Gator shot!!
cool shot and what no gators?
What part of Florida are you in? If you go down to the Johnson Space Center you will certainly see them, we saw them all along the drive down there, and there is a reserve down that way I wish I could remember the name, but you drive through, it is right on the coast, and my daughter who was 6 at the time, kept a list of all the different animals she saw I think she had around 34. Great place for photos, and a bit unnerving driving by some of them gators, they are BIG if I think of the name I will send it to you. Keep looking they are out there lol..
Keep watching, one day..... Have not seen any here either.
Yes they need respect...Gorgeous Idea!
Hummmm… But not all take this consideration in example like my friend. Cheer and beautiful catch ((5=+)) Hummmm... Mais pas tous prennent cette considération en exemple comme mon ami . Bravo et belle prise ((5=+))
I have seen many alligators in Florida in the middle of villages. But no warnings....
..........and I'm sure that you did not approach, isn't that so? I your next picture is of alligators as well, I will kill you!!!!
Ah, ah, very funny :)))
Oh this is such fun when I read the notice, but of course I would not frighten the gators or hurt them in any way, because I think I might just run in the opposite direction. Sorry there was not a real one for you to photograph but the photo of the sign is great!! hugs Jane xx
After reading the sign many people probably leave lol. Great shot!
Perhaps they are all on holiday.... I don't think I'd have the courage to walk anywhere near here.
I'm sure you'll find one when you least expect it, they have that habit! Great shot!
I'm convinced!
Don't think they are not here you will be surprised. I would take the sign seriously.
This is so surreal because I lived in Gator Territory for a while. I had ONE close encounter and that was enough. It wasn't that close, but still, the idea of a wild gator without a fence between him and me was enough to make me keep more than my distance. This is a great shot.
Love the sign. I'd like one of those for my patio. Dana
A powerful message!!!
Excellent!
Well seen but i think i would keep one eye behind one might be there waiting!!!!
maybe too late when you see one, if they see you first
Great. Dangerous place.
How do you frighten an alligator?
I hope we don't have to call you our one legged friend when you find them..lol..Keep your distance Buddy:)
Funny!
it wintin time and they be out in april for sure. keep looking and watch out. I was watching one from my truck and the gator went undewater and I saw the grass on top the water moved ver little. I too my camera and zoomed in and just saw a eye of the gator. that was all I saw too of him lol. they can hide good if they wish. Best get them sunning theyselfs but you have to get your eyes used to see what they see too or you miss them too.
LOL! I would be satisfied with just the sign :-)
