Description
I didn't think I'd feel like making any more winter images for now - here in Denmark we'd already had more than our share of deep cold and "blizzards" (hasn't been like that for 15 years).
Well, anyway here it is :)
Mainly an atmosphere/lighting study, I spent hours of tweaking, now I'm quite satisfied with the outcome.
Vue 7.4 Complete render. Minor corrections, framing & signature with Photoshop.
Some items from C3D, the majority of the vegetation is by me.
Freestuff credits: "Old rotting tree" by "tablesaw" (re-textured by me).
Thanks for taking a look, comments etc. welcome and appreciated.
Have a nice day

Wow, so beautiful. The atmosphere is completely amazing, and so is the entire scene.
I don't like winter, but your image, Lars, is wonderful.
I can never get tired of winter scenes as long as I am inside looking out lol This is outstanding work ~
A truly exquisite winter landscape. I guess you get lots of practice up north...?
This is a splendid image...the lighting and atmosphere have produced a very realistic scene...I'm not sure that a camera could do any better at capturing this image! You have created a masterpiece!!!

You are a Master! Beautiful work very inspiring.
Fine winter scene - I particularly like the contrast of the waning, golden sunlight contrasted with the darker, blue-toned foreground. Wonderful work!

You have a great knack of making your scenes look so real. A superb image with the real cold look of winter.
Amazing look of reality here Lars! We here in Canada can appreciate an image like this in all its winter splendor. The old rotting tree never looked so good!

Okay, that's a seriously nice bit of work. Love the colors and the little things, like the leaning over pine tree, that just make it look more real. Good stuff :)
