Description
This is a shot from a movie I made of this 2mm fruit fly.
They are so anoying and multiply rapidly during the summer.
To be able to do this shot, I mounted a reversed 28mm Nikkor lens on my videocamera.
You get a magnification like a microscope.
Lighting was two LED lamps. They dont get hot and are perfect for insects.

A very impressive shot!
Inventive technique with great results! Loved the video, though the subject is not my favorite... they are so annoying.
The results are impressive macro wise, and the video is excellent

Amazing, what a shot!!!!
Great close-up! Very nice capture.
Splendid close up, a fantastic capture!
Ugh...I HATE fruit flies! Leave an orange or two on the counter for a couple of days and they are hovering over it...a good trap seems to be a wine glass with a bit of wine in it!!! Cheap and effective!!!
Wow perfect closeup and detail!
Astonishing!
outstanding picture!!!!!!
Really amazing close-up.. Incredible shot! Well done! Rob
