Description
This little lichen plant was about an inch high. Sadly the area where this was growing is now gone to make room for power lines...

Splendid capture!
wow, stunning macro
Beautiful found!!! Well done!!! :)
Extraordinarily supernatural beauti. +10
Perfection. Two sorts of lichen and some moss, what more can one ask!
What a beautiful photo! I love the variety of colors here...too bad that it was destroyed for power lines.
Oh what a beautiful image! I love this macro and the distance blur. But it's sad to hear that the place doesn't exist this way anymore............ something I really hate nowadays. We should respect the nature, not destroy it for our needs and wants. ~Sassy~
Wonderful and very creative work
cool looking plant, and nice capture as for power lines i have no time for them, cos i am lead to believe that they can cause cancer and MS.
wonderful bit of colors.
This is amazing and deliciously alien as only lichen growth can be. I wish we had better lichen species here in Chicago. We probably do, but not in the city proper. Oh well...at least I can look here and I have to say that this is amazing. I love the wealth of details, the pastel hues and that sharp button of red almost like a deflated juniper berry. Great work, well spotted and well...this is going into my favorites!
FANTASTICA.
