Description
My Wife's new pet, well one of them.
Common Musk Turtle.
What the guy in the shop failed to mention was that their nickname is Stinkpot, this refers to the foul smelling yellow fluid they excrete when frightened.

Wonderful shot!
excellent "portrait"!!
Great shot! They are not the only ones, that wet themself when frightened. ;D
Glad she's got more than one, they are very social critturs.
Beautiful shot!!! Just don't scare the little guy, LOL
Try not to sneak up on him I guess... great shot, looks like he's posing for you.
I guess his redeeming quality will have to be, he is extremely cute! Excellent shot.
I'm not very familiar with this turtle but I bet he's a challenge. :-) I'd love to see him "in the flesh" - yes, even with the smell. Stellar shot with the bubbles.
Very cute turtle and a fine capture. Dana
