Description
UF 4, Mandala Di Lusso, Pixel (jp), Plasma, S.F.B.M. II, Plane Curve Traps II, with a touch of fBm Glass 1 mapping on the textured background.
Wow, 2 images this year. I'm on a roll. Since most folks probably arrive here from the link on the Fractal Community recent images page, I should mention one thing. I do a touch of post-processing in Photoshop. I use Curves to adjust color levels and than hit the image with Unsharp Mask.
I've always enjoyed playing with the symmetry of Toby's Mandala formula series. I was trying to come up with a simple one but got bogged down. I've been playing The McGarrigle Sisters albums today. Kate passed away this week, so sad. They'be been one of my favorites since their first release. So I took this a I had sent to the UF list, tweaked it and now dedicate it to Kate McGarrigle. Thanks for the wonderful music you've left us Kate. I'm sure Martha and Rufus will carry the torch for you.
