From rays of golden sun Bright green shoots emerge Gentle rains fall to nourish Colored beauty begins to flourish Rising tall in proud profusion Sending scents on gentle winds Smiling faces lifted to heaven Cold of winter now forgiven New life, bearer of hope Simple pleasures to view A gift of greatest measure Spring, for us to treasure Two days ago the snow had nearly melted away but alas! yesterday brought more and still snowing today. So this is my ode to spring, hoping that it pushes its way in early! They are telling us that this will continue thru April, spring officially begins in March. Wishing you warmth wherever you are! The mask I used on this work is by Pewter7. I put a gold border around the image and then flipped it vertically and applied the mask.
