Description
This morning in 9 degree temperatures, once again the birds came calling. How they survived last night I don't know, but the word has obviously gotten around that there's plenty to eat on my back deck. And in return they occasionally strike a suitable pose.
I've been watching a pair of cardinals for a couple of days now. They are fast movers, usually leaving my camera behind. But this morning the male posed just long enough allowing me to properly focus. I suppose they're a bit slower in the cold, thus giving me the chance.
It's supposed to be even colder tonight! I'm sure they probably wish all that global warming talk was actually true!
Stay warm!
