I guess this is my official Happy New Year image:-) In numerology 2010 is a 3 year (2+0+1+0=3). That means creative power; growth. Three is a moving forward of energy, overcoming duality, expression, manifestation and synthesis. Three is the first number to which the meaning "all" was given. It is The Triad, being the number of the whole as it contains the beginning, a middle and an end. In Greek lore associates lily meaning with birth and it is a symbol for motherhood. To my mind all of this means that 2010 is a very important year. My last image referring to Mother Earth, this confirms in my mind that the time is absolutely the right time to make changes, to become as Mark said to me 'stewards' time to give back, for all that she has given to us. Just a simple thing like picking up a piece of trash not only beautifies but honors her. I don't mean to sound like a preacher, I simply feel we must give our attention now. 2012 predicts the end of our world...I don't believe that but I do believe it will be the end of the world as we know it and it will leave a very different and ugly world for generations to come. In esoteric and mystery teachings, lily meanings include: Development Growth Progress Freedom Purity I give you this image in celebration of 2010 but also as a reminder of all that we can lose if there is no change...the light at the center speaks to the light that we all need in our lives. We are the pistols that stand proud before the light. Without change we can't be proud...With this I wish you love, light and a peaceful New Year. I took this image last June. My apologies for lack of comments, because of no help right now at the house I am on my foot more than I am supposed to be and so when finished I am lying down with the foot elevated. I haven't forgotten the love, support and friends who have visited me with that, I will catch up as I can! Thanks for your visit, comments and previous favs.

Wonderful and inspiring words Lynn and a wonderful image to illustrate! I have been watching some TV shows on Nostradamus and the Mayans and some scientific discussions on that! I also do not believe it will be the end in 2012 but I do believe that we as a human race stand before a huge choice as to the preservation of our planet... And that we are going to face some natural phenomena to the extend that we have never seen it before, is also a fact. So, I'll join hands with you to make this planet safer and cleaner...
