The light is superb – early morning or late afternoon? Given where it is I am guessing the latter! Cheers, Clive
Wow, it looks so beautiful, never really thought about sound in the desert!!!!
Wow. There's not anything quite as beautiful as these big sand dunes; you're so lucky to have been able to photograph them!

Superb! I always imagined the wind would be noisy!

marvelous surroundings, great photo! RS
very fascinating natural creation! great shot!
Super shot a bit of that sun would come in handy at the moment.
There is one place in California, near the boarder of Nevada, that has dunes. I love traveling through this area. The shifting sands, the windblown patters, the lone tracks of snakes and lizards trailing through the rolling grit. This is a stellar and most astonishing sight here, Carin, and an amazing pov.
excellent photo ..I would take that heat right now!!
Fantastic photo!
splendid shot!!
wonderful patterns...superB
Oh, this is beyond magnificent, Carin! I love fotos of desert dunes, and this one, with its seemingly equally spaced striations retreating into the distance, is a real winner among the genre. The wind makes for beautiful desert scapes.
Stunning foto, Carin---I understand why you would want to go back!!
Nice one, great textures.
Classic shot! I especially like the furrows on one side like the rows of a farm field.
