Description
This is The Bean in Chicago at Millenium Park. What a fabulous place to hang out! The reflections in the curved chrome sculpture are absolutely amazing. I loved every second we spent there!

Well seen, great shot!
well as you know, I'm trés familiar with this by now (lol), and I just love it. As I'm telling everyone, I'm just doing one comment per gallery tonight, so I can at least let everyone know I'm here & so appreciate the support I've gotten in these months, where I was so absent so many times. So I'll be back again soon. But this piece just took me in like a magnet. It's not just your composition---which is classic---but your capture of the coagulated music of the bystanders, the wonderful "enclosure" of the background buildings (the Loop, here like a big majestic headboard!), your amazing dissolving light on top (which almost swallows up the tops of the buildings, wonderful!), there's even a bird flashing by I think (!), and your wonderful contrasts of dark hues esp on either end like bookends, and the fine tonal balance of the whole with attention to the subtler hues inside the hues. A fine Chicago shot; and, for all its magnitude, it's "intimate". How 'bout that! Wonderful Tara, and thank you for a year of amazing, funny, beautiful and always dancing & joyous art. Hope your new year is great! The old & new Chicago---and old & new period---all one one...as the old year gives way to the new. (Time for mark to be trite! Sorry! But it's true!)

It seems they finally have landed. I love how out of place this seems in front of the older buildings in the near background. Wonderful capture.

That is really cool and I love the expansive lok of the reflection. It also looks so alien in a way. Or perhaps one century poking into another.
