Across the Minch ...
Looking North north East from just north of Stornoway,Isle of Lewis, Scotland. Sometimes you can hardly see the mainland from here but when the mountains are covered in snow and it's a clear day it looks quite close.
Thanks for LOoking

Wow! It is very clear! I'd have thought you'd be socked in! Merry Christmas, Emma, to you and yours!
A startling sight. Marvelous photo.
Corr, what a view,I do miss the sea in my vistas. With huge amounts of snow here I will pop out and grab some more views to swop.
Wonderful view.
What a great landscape I don't think we are ever going to get a snow:( But so glad I am not in N.D. Texas in that blizzard I posted a new one too drop by when ya can Hugs Your Ky sis Susan~
You live in a superb landscape but it must have a lot of drawbacks too. Where is the local supermarket and isn't it cold much of the year? Most people would settle for Devon if they could afford it.
Wow, what a lovely scene. I live in Texas but I'm from Aberdeen, Scotland and I soooo miss the snow!! Beautiful shot :)
Very beautiful photo, Emma! Merry Christmas
