Description
This is a collaboration with my friend Michael, to go with a poem that he has written called The Holiday Intellectuals , my challenge was to find a photograph to go along with the poem, so I have tried to do that I hope I was successful. This was taken at one of three diners that are near my home. I hope you enjoy our joint work. And once again thanks to all of you for your continued support and encouragement. Enjoy the Holiday season

Excellent photo for Michael's poem! Love the bright color and stockings. The collegians may not be in sight but this looks just the sort of place they would be. I think they've just stepped out for a poetry recital and will be back, full of long words and passionate statements. Excellent color, composition and clarity! This diner seems very familiar to me...my brother and I are always driving around and one of our favorite states to visit is Tennesssee. We stop to eat and I just sense something familiar about the diner. I like the mood the diner presents, can almost smell the Christmas dinner special cooking, the clatter of pots and pans from the kitchen, idol chat in the background from customers and employees...I'm off to read the poem...Merry Christmas to you and yours!
