Description
Hope this looks a little like him....
I started with Sydd's (RDNA) Nicolai texture, applied morphs to age him, rendered in Poser, applied the hair in postwork, and cloned the staff from a tree bark texture.

I finally got this image to load in.. it's kinda big for my tiny computer. But it was worth the wait. It is beautiful Lin. I think you should submit some of your work for Prints in the market place. :)

Linda - what magnificent work! I absolutely love it! Kev
it doesnt look very much like gandalf-sorry, but it is very good. i like the attention to detail very much, especially with the eyebrows and hand.
The thing I like best actually is the hand! How could i miss this??? Great!
Nice one.

just came from your hair tutorial - great work - incredible!!!
I found this while researching your hair tutorial. Just want to say this is a work of art. No doubt here.
Speechless. Everyone has said everything already but Wanna say that your art is very inspiring.
Incredibly impressive work; my only comments would be niggles based on the plugin. For instance, there's a point where the beard very slightly overlaps the staff; this is easily cloned out. Try applying a 1.2-point Gaussian across the image to soften the beard, it looks better that way. And finally, the face is a bit too clean to fit the hand. Apart from that... WOW!
I am new to all of this and just hope to be able to create something half as good as what this is.This pic really blows me away,Awesome!!!!
Makes me feel like a Hobbit
AWESOME!!!!!

Seeing as no one has commented on this for a few months I will just drop you a note: This is incredible, as is all your work. I honestly think you are one of the most gifted artists I've seen in my 2 months of being a member here.
