Description
From the time she'd left her house this morning, the curious 'scrape and slap' of his footsteps had followed her every move. She had almost caught a glimpse of him around noon when she'd turned to confront him but he'd vanished down an alley before she could call for help. Since that time she had been running from him. Always running. Now, she had no idea where she was and it was getting dark. Shoppers had all gone back to their families, tucked safely in their homes. Around midnight, she saw a phone booth and turned to cross the empty street to call for help.
