Description
This is fanart inspired from the movie "Tron", based on the old 80's movie promo poster. I am still messing with it but this is what i have so far.
This movie blew my freakin mind when I first saw it even though I was just a kid when it came out. It was one of the major Sci-fi influences for me, along side "BladeRunner" and "StarWars" amongst others.
There is also a new Tron movie coming out in December of 2010, and it's going to be epic. Here is the trailer for the "Tron Legacy" movie:

This is another entry for an 80's contest I have been competing in. It has been giving me some great 80's artwork inspiration, and it's been fun.

Wow! There's a great memory reborn!
Thats awesome, Tron adn bladrunner were my favorites over star wars. I was a star trek fan in the 60's, "I was very young in the 60's". I do remember veitnam on the news back then. Anyhow, excellent pic!
I was also heavily influenced by that movie. Excellent tribute!
Great work!!!!!!
Very nice work!
This is fantastic! I too loved the movie and you've nailed it with this excellent poster!
NICE.
Absolutly Excellent! I think this is better then the Star Wars one you did. Great FanArt Poster
Excellent work!!
Good one. I even remeber the movie.
Absolutely great. One of the really intersting things to me, as a computer scientist, is how one can pretty much tell that the Master Control Program is a reference to the old Burroughs MCP operating system. (BTW, if you've ever seen reboot, it's pretty clear that the computer there is running UNIX.)
Excellent!
Great work, phantastic colors and this awesome effects and lightning
