Description
I get a lot of questions about light in my renders and I wish I could tell you the secret behind them but to this day I don't think I have a handle on them. Every chance I get I play with them but a trick I do use is in photoshop, dark fog! I darken areas in my images, using layers and eraser to lighten the bits I want.

it isn't just the lighting or quality of your renders (and post-work), it is that, and everything else you bring together in your compositions--there is a wonderful painterly richness to your work, all the elements--the sensitivity in the poses and color...that is your talent, your art
