Description
Hi there.
Last day in the week but still busy!
That shot was taken last summer on our Garden Exhibition near my hometown. They sold their own honey there - much better than the honey from the super markets.
The bees where very peaceful but a friend told me, if they fly through your hair they would sting sometimes because of the bears. He explained that the bees got bears that like to get the honey still in the mind and if you got a beard or locks and come to close you will be the perfect bogeyman! I could take this shot and no bee stung me tho I got long hair. I'm a happy photographer ;-)
Hope everyone understand what I liked to say *g* and wish you all a very nice weekend and a beautiful 2nd Advent.

They are a busy bunch. I have never been afraid of bees; as long as you do not antagonise them you are safe. If not - beware. Once ran a fair distance because a school friend threw a rock into hive in a pipe. I was stung about six times, guess that is where my allergy started! Cheers, Clive
fine shot - don't disturb them and they won't hurt you.
Brave man! I would only shoot this with a 500mm Telephoto lens to keep a healthy distance! Damn! Beautiful shot, Lots of subjects and motion!
Wooo, look out :) Awesome shot!
Superb! Glad you got away with it!
Oh, I would have done the boogie-woogie bee dance right out of the exhibition. LOL Great shot with lots of details and danger. :-)
