Description
Yet another boring landscape... I was going to add an assortment of flying ships, but I couldn't bring myself to spoil the pristine wilderness.
Just an excuse to play with the atmospherics and infinite terrains in Vue 8...
Vue 8 Infinite, signature and minor colour balancing in Photoshop CS3.
Thanks for looking.

Nice work on atmosphare and lighting !!!
Nice work on the landscape. I wouldn't call it boring at all. But it IS very barren and unwelcoming ;-)
Could you hear me yell WOW!?!?!? I scared my dogs. Lol! ")
nice terrain
Cool rocks & atmosphere, Craig!!!
Nothing boring about this Craig,I am partial to desolate rocky landscapes, and this one has great lighting and a mysterious mood to it...great sky too!
Excellent render! Great sky!
this is perfect - wow - looks ,like a perfect photo - cool
absolut fascinating surface and landscape
Nice work anyway !
Really nice scene. Great terrain, textures and lighting! Excellent render.
Not just the atmosphere but the excellent rock strata on this one.. very nice even without all the extra goodies... and your right, all of the other stuff would have made this less impacting with it's simplicity.. the right choice in my opinion...
Perfect. Not "boring" at all. So realistic and moody. I love the low hanging clouds and the terrain texturing.
As an old Terragen user, I'm impressed with your results here. Sharp, well defined terrain and surfaces (some displacement maybe?). Clouds, atmo and lighting are perfect for this. Congrats on an excellent image!
Nice terrian and a clouds looks cool too.
Boring you say? I have been to places like this and they are awesome to behold. Though I may not choose to live in a place such as this, I do marvel at the beauty that comes from it. The sights, smells, sounds, I highly suggest to everyone to visit such a place if you can and spend a couple of days square in the middle of it. And if there is a storm on the way in, even better. Wonderful image!
Boring!?!? That's an incredibly fascinating terrain! I can easily see why you would take a photo, this is magnificent. Such amazing colors and textures, That would be such a cool place to play!
The texturing on the rocks is outstanding. Excellent work!
Very nice landscape scene!
This is fantastic! I love empty landscapes; they have so much potential and they spark unexpected stories. Empty is never as it seems...someone probably lives there and whoever they are, they're bound to be interesting. The details in this are wonderful, as is the sense of realism. This works perfectly without strange ships flying around and it would work perfectly with them as well. In short, I like this a lot!
Nice idea! Very well done!
Beautiful panorama.
Stunning! Definitely photo-real. Remarkable achievment.
