Description
Boots by the campfire
Stars up in the sky
Waylon on the radio
And Lizzi on my mind
We are doing the Texas two step
To the sound of a lone coyote
Singing to the sky
The world is doing its thing
We are doing our thing
And neither one of us cares about the other
We are two specks
In the middle of the desert
That will only make a difference
In each others life
And that’s enough

Great words my friend.
This conjures up some great images! All of them fun and happy
As life should be.Beautiful poem !!
So very true and beautiful my friend
Fantastic words my friend. Like this one.
Here's to all the small specks, so important to each other in a largely indifferent world. As The Beatles said "All You Need Is Love." That comes through beautifully in your poem. Very nice!
Like pixels in a photo, each one is separate and individual but without each 'speck' the picture is incomplete. Nice sentiments.
Excellent
Beautiful words as always with lots of room for thought and pondering
just don't melt the boots!!
