Maybe some sort of grass, taken at the Rosemary Scrub Natural Area, Boynton Beach, Florida. Very fragile. BEST IN ZOOM MODE!

How adorable Dana... PJ has got it spot on - looks like paint brushes! I do sneeze though by just looking at them! LOL... :)
Nice capture of this grass. Thanks for dropping by my gallery and leaving a comment on my messy workspace. It is organized chaos even if it didn't look like it. We would love to see your work space. Nice to meet you.
Unlike any grass we have here but I'll bet there are many varieties of grass in Florida. It looks soft!
wonderful dana x
This is great! I love the feathery texture, the lighter than air quality it has. The colors are nicely soothing as well, and yeah, I love the DOF, it really draws your attention to the fine fluff that reminds me of goose down, only grass-based and not plucked from a rather miffed goose.
fantastic capture!
Hummmm ..... Are superb fine grasses my friend. Cheer and mile mercies. Always a joy of contemplating your savours because the richness which comes out dazzles us from it the heart like. Still thank you for its wisdoms. ((5++)) Hummmm..... Se sont de superbes herbes fines mon ami . Bravo et mile mercis . Nah, not grass. These are q-tips in their natural state. Wonderful image.
I'll agree with anyone who identified them, except the very funny Mark, since I haven't a clue. They're beautiful! Love the dof! Great shot!
Wonderful!
