Description
This is really just a more elaborate doodle by me to use up a number of models that I've had for a while. Don't feel like it is quite finished; probably needs some German ground crew and some light dust coming from the truck. At any rate, it has something of an unfinished feel to me, but I seem to have run out of steam--or perhaps it was file size!--Grimace. Still feel it was worth posting as is. Hope you agree. I wouldn't want to waste your time on something not worth it.
Jeremy

I think the reson for the unfinished feel, is the wide open space in the distance? just a thought great image though.
This is Beautiful!
Not at all a waste of time. I'd put another terrain or something on the scene to make it look like a dirt or at least a churned up runway runs through the place.
excellent image!
cool and realistic scene!
Outstanding work Jeremy!
Its always worth posting images here. If/When you think the image isn't complete or theres something lacking, just say so. Lots of us would be happy to give some honest feedback. Looks more like a grassy field than a dirt field, so I dunno about dust. Think its more a lack of some simple vegetation like clusters of grass, maybe even some trees. A dirt field would let you get away with no sparse ground cover, but then you'd be needing dust clouds. There's also a shed just almost out of camera angle. Maybe push it and any other buildings farther back into camera view. Just a few ideas there... ;)
Spacer made some good points but even so, the image is wonderfully done and full of movement.
Those are some nifty models, I love the planes from WWII, very nice birds. I can see why you feel a bit "unfinished", ground crews probably would make a huge difference. Even so, it's a nice scene.
definitly worth posting and yep maybe some dust or some plants in the distance or maybe some barrels or gear standing around would be an idea... and you will have the idea fitting for this, I bet...smile
Nice work, I would consider adding more background detail like terrain and trees, some more figures in the foreground perhaps, add more atmosphere haze and perhaps make the light late afternoon for better shadows.
Wonderful models and composition!
Awesome ETO Theater airbase scene!!! Most impressive work!!!
Keep it going. You've got a winner here.
A cool elaborate doodle indeed!!! Great looking, but flight control has gone out of the window! lol That Ju88 looks brilliant though.... Rob
Looks darn good to me. Except maybe a number of bullet holes and some raggedly holes in the bombers just to make it more realistic.
No crits, just love it...(specially full size) as to file size, I dread to think ! Sharpen your virtual pencil and carry on doodleing this is great stuff.
Fantastic scene and models, love the lighting and detailing, outstanding work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed fine models and a quite realistic render
