Very elegant composition with a delicate Mucha flavour!

This has such a feeling of joy .. after all, what good are material things if there is no joy. Wonderful warm tropical feel, a richness to this, richness in happy feelings, satisfaction, comfort, and JOY!

a big mythic cornucopia (literally horn/corn of plenty/copious), a big beaming goddess peering out from her private garden of riches to show us some of them and bring happiness along with it. I love Rita's interpretation. I suppose the goddess could be smiling because we grab the riches and forget the inner stuff; but it really feels more like a goddess of nature smiling just because she's happy and is coming out to see us for a bit. Another of your intuitive images, she wears branches & leaves for a necklace, flowery leaves & plants in her hair, her outfit has leaf-forms all over it and is surrounded by more growth outside it, she holds a sunflower & a bird--the bird's wings broad & beautiful & a pink light from underneath (love that touch), and what looks like a halo of sanskrit letters (though they could just be natural forms) and what looks like a rope-weave behind it all, like the interweavings of life itself. It's framed in your usual frame that doesn't stop the work, only demarcate it a bit; and it's lit with a deep reddish pinkish glow, like this goddess is coming out of a deep cavern & still has the red light from inside, on her face. And her smile is terrific, Cathy. Another of your intuitive pieces where the pieces fit naturally, and a very happy celebrating image. Could be other seasons too, but the fact that you choose it for late autumn has a very positive feel.

the blend work in this is outstanding

Wonderful pic! And such a lovely, happy character....
