Description
This stick insect was shot through a steamed up plastic tank on the bug stand at a show, It needed a lot of tweaking in PS to get this and I am amazed how good it looks, which is more than I can say for the bug.
Shot with a 105mm Sigma macro lens hand held in a not to bright marque.

Very fine work
Beautiful shot of an ugly bug. Actually, I find him (it?) totally amazing!
Oh my goodness.... it looks like he is saying don't shoot... with his arms up in the arm.. funny little guy.
Agree that only his mom could look into that face but I have to commend you, for the effort, to allow us to view this strange insect. Awesome! :>) Dana
This looks like an Australian stick insect! I used to have 4, they were called Boss, Eva, Joy and Pritt. Unfortunately I never got the offspring past the 2nd instar. I must look into getting some more and trying again. Much more difficult than the Indian sort. Great pic in the circs.
