Description
Punta del Este is a resort frequented by upper-class Argentines who disdain Mar del Plata since the latter lost its exclusivity. Punta del Este is located on a peninsula at the mouth of the Rio de la Plate in Uruguay. The yacht harbor is on the Rio de la Plata side of the peninsula.
