Description
Today I am alive again
I feel the breath of life
In my bones
A summer day
In the middle of fall
Just for you
Just for me
Just for us
You weren’t here
But you were with me
I felt your arms around me
In the breeze
I heard your voice singing to me
Through the trees
I felt your hand in mine
When I walked down the beach
Then I saw the log
Where I carved
Emily was here
We sat on it
Dangling our feet in the water
And I was alive
So very alive
