Description
In about 15 minutes (Oct. 30) it'll be my 2 year anniversary here, and this is my 100th post. I'm still experimenting, so, here's another one.
I want to thank you all for your valuable feedback. I've learned a lot from reading your comments and viewing your wonderful galleries. I won't be posting for a while now, so I can relax and catch up on what everyone else is doing.

You have demonstrated an impressive ability to execute your imagination. I have enjoyed seeing the development of your work!
wow... one of your best pieces
Very intruiging and dreamy image. Wonderful work Cathy!
well, it's now about 15 minutes & 30 days since your 2 year anniversary, lol. I love the sun/moon sitting low on the horizon, and how it illuminates the image more with dream memory than real light; how the light undulates across the middle of the image like mists; how the tree bends out the left and then back into the right where it meets the house (fine motion, in other words); the mysterious house with mysterious windows (in which a figure seems to be peering out upstairs, or at least the shadow of one); the swing which cuts the vertical motion with a flower child's collection of flowers & leaves; and of course the flower child itself, whom we see only from the back, left to guess just what she's looking at and yearning for. The blend is solid yet transparent, the light is dream-light, yearning-light, there's a faint peace symbol on one of the windows, and the whole piece feels like a yearning & dream, surrounded by late day autumnal fog & setting light. It seems at one with a series of images you did around this time which were both playful and filled with remembrance; and this is the most inward of them all. Touching to anyone who feels it, I think; and a delicate musing to usher in your third year. Very sensitive work, Cathy.
Definitely a fav I havent visited your gallery lately Just too ill to sit at the computer anymore I do however have up a few new ones Drop by if you have time Hope you have a Happy Holiday Hugs Susan~
This is an outstanding creation; I´m glad you´ve created such a delicate piece for this very special ocassion; congrats from the heart!
its a haunting atmosphere to find in here, almost tangible! one could climb into this scene to explore it further, it is really fascinating, touching and so beautifully done ... and thank you for stopping by in my place, i'm glad you enjoyed my latest image so much, thanks a lot!
Simply magical! All the scene is challenging! But, dreamy too. The moonlight is somehow hypnotic but protective. The old trunk, is like a window of the nature , that frame your image mysteriously and the child is a challenge to our imagination!Your image is superb and never-ending to our eyes!:-)))Thank you! And,of course! Congratulations on your 100th, and much more will come, for sure!:-))))
love the mood on this one
Splendid image...Love the idea and how it is worked out. I instantly have to think about Kate Bush's Wuthering heights.
Wow... this picture is so beautiful, so sad... Amazing work!
