Description
I took this in an old bank converted to a restaurant in Carthage Texas near Louisiana.first time in person to see such a safe in the round.they have a museum upstairs and I will be sharing some from it probably
I installed windows 7 professional last night and at first glance I like it, mainly because of the lack of baggage from HP .the only problem so far is no Microsoft games like solitaire and I lost windows media so I must figure out some other way to watch tv. now, I am reinstalling my software.my next item is poser 8,Apophysis,etc
thanks for watching and any comments are appreciated

Wonderful shot Richard......!!!!
Most safes are always ugly this is rather sharp looking great photo richard
Excellent shot! :)
Cool looking safe. Let us know how you do with Win 7, I for one am always nervous about the first release of new versions.
Nice capture of this unusual safe they look like a series of drawers rather than a door.. well done..
a very interesting picture!!!!
Fantastic safe!!! Excellent capture!!!
Wow, Richard, this is really fabulous. I think this is the first time I've seen something like this. Really great find!
Very interesting safe and information! Great shot.
like that safe, at 1th glance I thought it was a kind of stove
never seen a round one before, Richard, thanks for the shot and the info!
wow first time too to see this type of safe
GREAT CAPTURE
Most interesting!
Most fascinating safe. Those days were full of decorative ideas. Good luck with W7. I have problem using cs3 what a bummer! so I am jumping to W7 to XP...grrr.
Cool safe. Let us know how Win 7 goes.
that's a nice safe! very cool richard, thanks for sharing the story and pic..
A lovely capture. I'm glad that the new windows is going well but a shame they cut the games. I usually play while I'm waiting for renders.
I've never seen such a cool safe. Can't wait to see what else was in that museum. Nice shot. I like Win7 I've been running it since beta. I hated Vista. There are games in Win7 I'll email it to you how to tun it on.
It must have been a really small bank if that was the only size safe they needed. Then again, perhaps it was just for "show" in the main area of the bank and they kept a bigger one in the basement. Great shot nonetheless, it looks like it waa a challenge to capture with the lighting available.
I was lucky enough to skip Vista..some system folks a saying if you like XP and it works for you...then there is really no reason to upgrade right now..
great info and capture richard.
