Description
Jose Dominguez Muñoz, better known as the Cabrero, is a flamenco singer born in Aznalcóllar, province of Seville, in 1944. Since his childhood was devoted to the grazing goats, motion that continues to exercise despite being one of the figures of flamenco more requested at festivals and events related to this music. Began its journey artistic creation in 1972, with the Block, Sevilla, conducting a tour of Spain and various European countries. The success is such that carries out a new tour, now in solitary, debuting at the Théâtre de l'Atelier of Geneva, in the month of March 1973.
Recorded his first album in 1975. Five years later won two National Awards in the National contest of Flamenco Art of Cordoba. In the 90 participates in festivals where shares poster with musicians like Gilberto Gil or Chick Corea. Incorporated into the tour USES'93 Peter Gabriel, returns to the scenarios europeans shortly afterwards. Also Important its participation in the disk, edited by the union CGTen Chiapas support, entitled "CHIAPAS: the rhythms of the mirror".
Author of more than a fortnight of discs of flamenco, has also was pleasantly surprised your disk of tango porteño "Without Rivet". In addition on grounds of ideological affinity collaborated with the rock group protest Recidivists, and also the rock group Tide has versioned items on the Cabrero. In the political arena, is defined as libertarian. Collaborated with the militant pro-independence and andalusian de Izquierda Unida Juan Manuel Sanchez Gordillo, parliamentary andalusian by Sevilla, and since the 1970S continuously with the anarchist movement and with the National Confederation of Labor (CNT-AIT) organization to which belonged.
