Description
I hope noboy is getting tired of it. I am trying to set up a nice scene with decent lighting...the ship finished. but the details are far from being finished....comments welcome....the Excalibur ship is for size reference which the DW-II is about 12 times bigger being a massive destroyer class vessel......

Getting tired? Are you kiddinh? I can't get enough of this stuff. Nice to see a full render showing the whole ship. Very nicely done! :o)
I'll second that!
I think you need to add a little color varience to the stars (a very little). Try to use colored lighting (mabey a blue light from somewhere behind the camera, and a much lower intensity yellow light form the other side of the ship to soften the shadows some. If the stars are particles and not an image map, is edge transparency on (they look a little sharp). And for the engine flares, add a streaky texture to them. I like it tho, keep up the good work. Joe
Michael, excellent modeling! Your ship is really coming along nicely! Your exhaust from the engines looks great! I do have one suggestion though, your starfield all have the same intensity and size. You may want to create the starfield after you render the ship in a program like Universe. All in all wonderful work! looking forward to more! ;-)
