Description
Thanks to RAcher (Ryan Archer) for his 'Golden Forest' tutorial for leading me towards creating this image. And, thanks to Walli for the fine pine tree models here.

stunning realistic!!! love the wonderful lights/shadows...
Oh my.. Amazing work, Bob. Just amazing. And so beautiful. How many hours to render?
@ Linda: A little over four hours ...not that long.
Each one is better than the last.. :O)
very nice forrest scene ( a bit Vue-like ;) )
A nice one again...keep on man!!
sehr, sehr schön!
Wonderful composition and atmosphere!!!
Nice arboreal scene, Bob. Nearby groundcover looks a wee bit lumpy. Decreasing its displacement and adding some grass there might be an idea.
Agree with putz with the Vue like resemblance and WeeLaddie about the ground. Looks real rocky. Smokey The Bear might give u a warning about the fire danger with that grass roof and no fire break between the house and the forest! Other than that looks good enough to move in and take a break from the beach.
I smell the pine odor from here! Thanks!
Super, Bob!
wonderful atmospheric piece
A romantic idyll... wonderful
amasing realisim, very well done indeed..
My work lately has taken me into the Ozark area of southern Missouri; this is exactly how the area looked this summer! I like the solitude here- when can I occupy the cabin?
wow! something new! at first I was thinking about Vue, then asking: is it a photo? hey, impressive scenery and view onto the building framed by all the wonderful trees! ;o)
wonderfull!
