Description
After dinner one night, we took a walk along a pier on Lake Superior. The sun was setting and it was early evening. This is one of the later shots. I didn't have a tripod, so I used the wall of the pier to steady my camera. I was enthralled with the reflection of the lights on the water. I probably took dozens of photos just of this area, maybe composed slightly differently. I will have some more photos to share that I took on this walk. It was fun taking the photos at this time of day. I sure would like to try again.
My previous upload, "Sunset in the Badlands". Thanks for taking a look and leaving your comments. I look forward to read what you think.
Have a beautiful day~
Hugs,

Shimmering colors over the lake. A stellar shot!
Magnificence on display in this night shot of the lights in the distance and shimmering water reflections, Melinda! You did good, real good, considering you had no tripod to work with.

Wonderful Work!!!!
I so rarely get to see the OTHER Great Lakes, and this is a perfect shot of the biggest of them! I love the darkness and the distinct spots of light and the shimmering reflections. The whole image works perfectly, each element building into a satisfying whole! Great stuff!
