Description
Blowfly Grass (or "Blowies" as we used to call them as kids!)also known as Greater Quaking Grass.
Something seen everywhere here in Western Australia (and in other parts of the world so it seems!)
It's scientific name is Briza Maxima.
Whatever it's called, a most interesting grass that is fun to both sketch and photograph.
Again, selective desaturation by hand plus some background softening.
