Description
When I went to college I became a member of a merry band of idiots. We would hang out together and try, with varying degrees of success, to date the coeds. We borrowed from the rich (student loans) and spent the money on the poor (mostly ourselves). This is Dave. He was our Little John, tall, funny and good-natured. We stumbled along for about a year like this until, one day, Maid Marian entered our circle.

Oh .. this is a great portrait! .. for it is unposed and so finely captures natural aspects of his character and the moment of time in which the image was created. That we all could have such priceless mementos of our youthful days! For no matter all else that drifts away through the years this portal will always return you, with vibrant memory, to those wonderful times. I am smiling from personal reference at the empty bottles of Almaden on top of the frdge'. My.. how long it has been since I saw one of those! Yes .. great times indeed! ;-) Terry
His smile is very subdued but he feels like a great, good character with perhaps a wry sense of humor. I can see why you would choose to be his friend. Your shot reveals quite a lot. Do you ever hear from him?
