Description
I captured this cutie at the Lion Park on the same day I photographed Jonty and his family!!! I THINK this is a Bushveld Pipit (Anthus caffer). We have so many native birds that look very much alike. It took me ages now to "study" my bird book... LOL...
Thank you for your wonderful comments and favs on my East & West upload of yesterday!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

marvelous!
very beautiful bird.shot. I seen a hummingbird in my yard for the first time in 24 years that I have lived here
Beautiful!
Fantastic shot! :)
Beautifully captured and presented
Its great.. I've certainly never seen it before! A great pose - must have known you were there!! Well done.. Rob.
wonderful capture!
I have no idea what this little guy is, but he looks like those Ninja Sparrows we have here in Chicago. Those birds are small and indestructable! And fun to watch. All they do is flutter around and argue, like little old men who have the same favorite park bench! Having said that, I must say that this is a stuning photograph. So clear! I love the warm colors and the bird's facial expression. So perfect!
Truly an awesome shot!!! Someday I be able to do this :)
